New Member Education
Curriculum
Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed for students seeking to deepen their understanding of financial concepts and prepare for competitive recruitment. We provide hands-on exposure to financial modeling in Excel, organize exclusive Banking Club teams for case competitions, and offer Bloomberg terminal training modeled after real analyst workflows. Our technical training covers a wide range of topics,
from foundational accounting to advanced concepts such as merger modeling and debt waterfalls.

Philosophy​
Our education extends beyond simply securing an internship. We believe in continuous education throughout college to build the skills, confidence, and professionalism needed not just for a return offer, but for long-term success in finance. Through advanced training, alumni engagement, and a strong mentorship culture, we support our members at every stage—from early exposure as underclassmen to navigating full-time recruiting and beyond.
Prospective members
The club recruits students from throughout Miami University who show keen interest in working within the finance industry, and who possess our core traits: dedication, determination, and curiosity. All prospective members must pass through three rounds of interviews: A coffee chat with an executive board member, a behavioral and technical interview, and finally, an LBO case study presentation.
