Our club engages in weekly member education sessions. Member education is led by club seniors with live-deal internship experiences. These upperclassmen teach club members the necessary skills needed that may not be covered in the traditional classroom. Topics covered include Excel & Powerpoint basics, professional development, and recruiting assistance. New members are introduced to financial concepts such as the capital structure and valuation methodologies.
Our cub offers unprecedented exposure to industry professionals. Originally founded in 2017 by executives at Fifth Third and PNC, we bring in speakers every week to educate and recruit the club. Ranging from analysts to directors across banks, funds, startups and more, the club gets a taste of all jobs in the industry. Meetings over unprecedented networking and professional development opportunities with Q&A following every single meeting.
The banking club believes not only in bettering ourselves daily, but also in bettering those around us. Whether it is a donut sale or a golf outing, we are always looking for ways to bond as a club while raising money for causes bigger than ourselves. Our causes include, but are not limited to Cincinatti Children's Hospital and Storm Bora flood relief. All members are expected to actively participate in philanthropic efforts.

The club recruits students from throughout Miami University who show keen interest in working within the finance industry, and who possess our core traits: dedication, determination, and curiosity. All prospective members must pass through three rounds of interviews: A coffee chat with an executive board member, a behavioral and technical interview, and finally, an LBO case study presentation.
